We have a look of the combined form of X-Transbots Stunticons. This take on G1 Menasor is supposed to be 49 cm. tall, ideal to go with other official Masterpiece Decepticons. This images reveal a good range of poseability, including articulated hands, a gun and a big sword. The mold proportions are very cartoon-accurate (you can see two of the Stunticons hanging at the back of the legs). We are yet to see how the main body is formed, since we haven’t seen Grave-stone (Motormaster) prototype. Will it be similar to what DX9 is doing with their Atillausing Motormaster’s trailer transform in the main body? We know it’s hard to recreate Menasor’s G1 cartoon design, but it’s nice to have another great alternative on the market.

Knees, arms, ankles, various tabs and panels that just don't fit together right, most of it really. The tolerances feel like they're completely off.
My arm panel tab at the point where the grey plastic forearm tabs to the yellow fake part on dragstrip is too big. It did eventually fit but it still pops out from time to time. Not a dealbreaker though. I wonder if the g2 and toy versions had mold degradation cause I truly didn't have those problems on the toon version ( I bought the first run trailer.)
I do wonder why XTB removed the ratchets in the knees. The molding is still there but the springs are gone. Must have caused knee breakages if left in

Not saying there isn't issues but I have had my toon version for a few years and I've had no tabbing issues at all where are the problem issues at? I will say there is a hidden pull out hips that add a ton of stability options as well as tightening the knees and 4 ankle screws.

Seems a bit pricey, and sadly it won't solve the other issues of nothing tabbing together properly.
Not saying there isn't issues but I have had my toon version for a few years and I've had no tabbing issues at all where are the problem issues at? I will say there is a hidden pull out hips that add a ton of stability options as well as tightening the knees and 4 ankle screws.

I ordered mine from this store on Ali Shop915656020. I’ve ordered a few things from them and never had a problem.
The kit replaces the factory feet altogether, everything from the knee down. They factory feet and ankles won’t be used. The kit is easy enough to install, if you want the cars on the front, then you have to swap the legs around, it’s not a big deal. I have no regrets getting it, but I was also never going to transform it again anyway. I guess I do need to add that mine had the bad knees from the factory, the plates on the bottom are warped, XTB would have replaced them if I had asked. I knew I was going to get this kit so I didn’t bother. Mine had horrible stability because of that. It’s great now, I just don’t know what the difference will be between a good set of factory knees and the upgrade kit.

Sounds you should buy the leg upgrade kit. I think there is a G2 version.

Yeah that sounds like it fixes most of the issues which are all the lower legs and ankles.
Hands on mine are also super loose at the wrist but I can live with that.
There is a screw in the wrist to tighten them you need to bend wrist like giving a high five thwn inside there is a tiny screw (it will constantly loosen unless you turn it the tighten way.

They'll add 20% VAT on, as required, so bear that in mind.

I think it’s worthwhile. The lower leg proportions look way better with the kit and like I said, stability is way better. I got my kit from Aliexpress, if you can order from LikeToys on Taobao, it would be cheaper, just take a little longer.
I need to make sure I order from the right person on Ali. I found one which came to about $175 to UK. But was quoted by a guy on Facebook $185 to UK.
Is installation easy? I have just finished putting the menasor together tonight and I nearly launched the thing the second I put Motormaster in and it completely tipped over. Not sure how XTB dropped the ball on not putting ratchets in every single joint from the waist down. After such an involved transformation to then add the last piece in Motormaster and it just compounds the agony I've just gone through lol. It looks great though so there is that I guess. I wish I never bothered putting gravestone in tbh.
The upgrade kit, does it support the ankles specifically?

I understand the expense, I think these kits are all made to order. I just connected breakdown and wild rider to the stock trailer legs… Yeah it's an unstable mess. It looks outstanding but compared to the only other combiner I have (TW Constructor) it is all over the place. Also the leg connections are crap.

I bought the LikeToys kit and think it’s great. It makes him a little taller to match Zeta height, and is way more stable. Plus you can put the cars on front if you want to. The grey match’s good but the purple on the feet is kind of a shimmery almost color change purple. Kind of an odd choice I thought, but not bad. It is kind of expensive, but worth it to me.

I have the leg upgrade kit. 100% Worth it. Way more stable, like blurr95 said, you can put the cars in the front of the legs if you want. Sure, it turns him into a non-transformable trailer. But I have FT Motor Master in bot mode and a 2nd Trailer with XTB Motor Master in alt mode. Cuz… Im cool like that. Maybe I should sell my xtb Dead end….
Yeah I think I'm gonna go in on it and save up for it eventually.
