Accessing Citi® Cardmember Tickets: Everything you need to know (2024)

To access Citi® Cardmember Presale Tickets for select events, you’ll need to link your Citi and Ticketmaster accounts. To access Citi® Cardmember Preferred and other Citi® Tickets, please use the six-digit access method above.

  1. Sign into your Ticketmaster Account.
  2. Click or tap Connect for Citi Cardmembers under Connected Accounts.
  3. Sign into your Citi Card online account and select Authorize Access.
  4. You’re all set to purchase Citi Presale Tickets with an eligible Citi Card.

You can also connect your accounts while searching for tickets by selecting Unlock on a Citi® Cardmember Presale Ticket. Once you've completed the process, you'll be redirected to the event detail page.

By linking your accounts, you’re only permitting Citi to provide Ticketmaster access to your card type and partial account number. No other personal or financial information will be provided by Citi to Ticketmaster.

Do I have to link my account each time I purchase Citi® Cardmember Presale Tickets?

Once you’ve linked your Citi account with your Ticketmaster account, just sign in to unlock access and purchase your Citi® Cardmember Presale Tickets. No further steps or codes are required. You’ll need to link your accounts at least once per year, however, to maintain access to future Citi® Cardmember Presales.

How do I know if I have an eligible Citi account?

Sign in or register your Citi online account by visiting Citi.com. You won’t be able to access Citi® Cardmember Presale tickets without having a Citi Card account and an active Citi Online account.

Can I unlink my Citi and Ticketmaster accounts?

Yes, you’re able to unlink your accounts at any time by accessing the Connected Accounts page within the My Profile section in your Ticketmaster account.

Why can’t I access Citi® Cardmember Presale Tickets with the six-digit method?

Citi and Live Nation are working together to make sure that more tickets get in the hands of real fans like you – not scalpers, brokers, and bots. By linking your Ticketmaster and Citi Card accounts, you’re verifying that you’re a Citi Card customer and eligible to access these tickets. Because we’re keeping unauthorized users from accessing these tickets, fans will be more likely to get access to these types of tickets. Currently, only a limited number of Citi® Cardmember Presales will require you to link your Citi and Ticketmaster accounts.

Will I need to link my accounts to access tickets for a show on another site?

No, this process to access Citi® Cardmember Presale Tickets will only apply to events ticketed on Live Nation and Ticketmaster sites.

Can I access Citi® Cardmember Presale Tickets if I have a Citi card issued by Banamex in Mexico?

Citi® Cardmember Presale Ticket access is not available for Citi cards issued outside of the United States.

Can I use the account linking method for my retail store credit card issued by Citi?

No, retail store credit cards issued by Citi will not give you access to Citi® Cardmember Presale Tickets for events requiring account linking, even if you’ve previously used the six-digit access code method. Retail store credit cards will be able to access Citi® Cardmember Presale and other Citi® Tickets for events using the six-digit access code method.
